Hi, I'm Jaia (Sadhana), founder of Aya.
I'm a Yoga teacher, Ayurveda coach-in-training
(graduating September 2026), Reflexologist and lifelong student of holistic wellbeing.
My work brings together traditional Yoga, Nidra, Yin, Pranayama (breathwork) and Ayurvedic principles to help people cultivate greater balance, energy and ease in everyday life.
Women's health throughout every stage is a key aspect of my work, I’m passionate about supporting women prepare the body for a healthy perimenopause & menopause. I hope to be part of the growing movement shining a light on the importance of education and research for these transformative years in our life.
Having worked in corporate environments in AI, Finance & Teaching, I understand first-hand the realities of modern life: busy schedules, competing priorities, chronic stress and the challenge of caring for ourselves whilst balancing work, family and personal growth. My focus on workplace wellness is shaped by my experience and wish to share grounded, practical tools for abundant health.
My path into true wellbeing includes having spent seven years as part of the team for a meditation centre in Portugal, immersed in contemplation and service with my beloved teacher and community. This is my fundamental grounding in what I regard as the heart of Yoga.
I give gratitude to all the wonderful people in my life who make my wildest dreams a reality.
A note from me
My Yoga Teacher graduation in Thailand, 2025 :)
Wall of LOVE
“I took a nidra class with Jaia and loved that attention was given to every single part of my body, I found it deeply nourishing and softened places where I felt a lot of physical tension. I’m currently having weekly sessions and will be using her YouTube recordings in between, thank you so much.”

Ayurveda is a traditional system of health and wellbeing that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Often translated as "the science of life", Ayurveda offers a holistic approach to living well by supporting balance in the body & mind.
Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, Ayurveda recognises that each person is unique. It helps us understand our individual constitution (known as our prakriti) and make choices that support digestion, energy, sleep, hormonal balance, menopause, menstrual wellbeing resilience and overall vitality.
Ayurveda uses gentle, practical tools such as:
Nourishing foods and personalised eating habits
Daily routines and seasonal living
Yoga, breathwork and movement
Rest and Yoga Nidra
Stress management and nervous system support
Herbal and lifestyle practices
More importantly, Ayurveda aims to address the underlying patterns that may be contributing to imbalance, helping us cultivate sustainable habits that support long-term wellbeing.
Rooted in ancient wisdom, Ayurveda remains one of the world's oldest living systems of holistic health. Its teachings invite us to reconnect with nature's rhythms, listen more deeply to our bodies, and create a way of living that supports balance, resilience and joy.
At Aya, Ayurvedic wellbeing guidance is combined with yoga, breathwork and Yoga Nidra to help you feel more grounded, nourished and supported through the changing seasons of life.
